As a charter member of Vision Zero Network’s Membership Circle of Supporters, Hexagon will be at the forefront of the crusade against roadway deaths. In the U.S. alone, more than 40,000 people are killed each year in traffic incidents. Millions more are injured.
By implementing powerful technology and building prevention strategies, Hexagon and Vision Zero believe that highway deaths and injuries can be greatly reduced — and, eventually, eliminated completely.
But to make it happen, leaders in the realms of public health, transportation planning and engineering, policy, community advocacy, and the private sector must develop and share promising ideas. Those ideas must then be evaluated and executed.
