Remote Sensing, or the process of deriving information about the earth through imagery captured by satellite or aircraft, provides us with vital clues about the earth and our environment. Whether you need a supplement for your field studies, the region you are studying is too difficult to visit, or too large to study in the field, it provides us with the data we need to begin to understand the world around us.

Remotely-sensed data is increasing, in both collection and popularity. As Google Maps and other internet-based mapping systems become ubiquitous, more and more industries look to remote sensing to provide the data they need to understand their business problems. From UAVs to satellite systems, we have a plethora of data choices.

ERDAS IMAGINE, the World’s First Commercial Remote Sensing Software

At Hexagon Geospatial, we have a history of working with remotely sensed data. ERDAS IMAGINE was the world’s first commercial remote sensing software application.
