The Power Portfolio: Transforming Data into Information

One of the major challenges facing us today is the fact that we are surrounded by geospatial data.  Geospatial data literally follows us everywhere we go and informs everything we do. This constant flow of data can blow right by us unless we learn how to harness it.

Just as a wind turbine harnesses the flow of wind and transforms it into useful power, we seek to empower you to gather that flow of geospatial data and transform it into useful information. This information can be anything, from Tax parcels to disaster recovery to locating new places to build a restaurant.

By gathering our products into three Product Suites that better describe the life cycle of geospatial data, we are simplifying the way you think about geospatial data. The Producer Suite empowers you to collect, process, analyse and understand raw geospatial data, converting it into usable information. The Provider Suite allows management and data delivery to others.  The Platform Suite provides tools to build customised geospatial apps and solutions using a sophisticated set of developer-focused technologies. This suite also extends geospatial functionality through modern and dynamic toolkits.

Keep an eye on this blog for a lot more information about the individual Product Suites coming soon!

Hexagon Geospatial is proud to announce the Power Portfolio, a new way to conceptualize the the lifecycle of geospatial data, delivering the tools you and empowering you to harness that continuous flow of data and solve the world’s problems.
