Each year at HxGN LIVE, we offer complimentary hands-on training covering a range of topics for all experience levels. Whether you’re just getting started, or want to refresh your skills, we have a class for you! Here’s a look at hands-on ERDAS APOLLO training at the conference.
ERDAS APOLLO is an extensible platform allowing users to build custom applications on top of the framework. This four-hour advanced session will introduce the Application Programming Interface (API) for the ERDAS APOLLO Data Management System. These new RESTful APIs allow for faster development and easier integration into today’s technologies.
This two-hour intermediate session will cover the various aspects of managing metadata within the ERDAS APOLLO system, from ingesting data with existing metadata, editing metadata, and creating metadata, to implementing metadata templates and saving/distributing metadata. Participants should be intermediate-to-advanced ERDAS APOLLO data managers or administrators. Topics include how ERDAS APOLLO manages, works with or implements the following ISO standards: 19115-1, 19115-2, 19115-3, 19157, and 19110.
This is an advanced session on how to optimize the performance of the ERDAS APOLLO system. Every organization, system, and workflow requires its own optimization. This could be based on IIS / Server settings, the use of overview images for large virtual mosaics, or a combination of various settings and workflows. This course is for individuals with an administrative or data management role for the ERDAS APOLLO system with a working knowledge of server technology.
